Contract Description
The collection/collection and processing of small hazardous waste in the IVM collaboration area (Aalter, Assenede, Deinze, Eeklo, Evergem, Gavere, Kaprijke, Lievegem, Maldegem, Merelbeke-Melle, Nazareth-De Pinte, Sint-Laureins, Sint-Martens-Latem and Zulte). After collection/collection, small hazardous waste must be transported to a central depot where it is stored and, if necessary, conditioned and then transported to an approved installation where it is processed. This service falls within the obligation to accept household packaging waste by Fost Plus, in accordance with the Cooperation Agreement. To this end, the contracting authority has concluded an agreement with Fost Plus, the recognized organization for household packaging waste. Fost Plus will also be responsible for the reimbursement of services relating to the packaging part of the hazardous waste flows supplied by the service provider in the context of this assignment.
