Invitation to bid for public tender No. DA\2026-23206 Direct Aid Society - Yemen Office invites suppliers to submit their bids for public tender No. (DA\2026-23206) for the year 2026 AD, To purchase, supply and transport school bags in Abyan Governorate / Khanfar District. Bidding documents can be obtained from the link in the announcement, bearing in mind that an amount of 15,000 Yemeni riyals must be paid to the cashier in the Direct Aid Office during the delivery of the tarpaulin envelope, or the bid will not be accepted. The bid shall be submitted in one original and two copies in a closed envelope sealed with red wax, on which are written the name of the entity, the project, the tender number, and the name of the bidder. It is valid for a period of (90) days from the date of opening the envelopes, and enclosed are the following documents: 1. A bank guarantee in the same form as specified in the tender documents in the amount of (3,200 US dollars) three thousand two hundred US dollars, of the total value of the bid, valid for a period of (90) days from the date of opening the envelopes, or a check accepted for payment. 2. A copy of a valid registration and classification certificate (commercial registry). 3. A copy of a valid sales tax registration certificate + tax card. 4. A copy of the insurance card + Zakat card valid for the tender period. 5. A copy of the profession practice certificate and shop license. 6. The necessity of registering with the authorities before entering the tender. If this is required, anyone who does not meet this condition will be dropped. 7. All offers must include an overview of the supplier, his performance records in the field of supplies, transportation and distribution, a copy of previous contracts and other documents related to the subject of this tender. 8. The bid will be submitted in US dollars and payment will be in US dollars. 9. Attach the catalogs for the supply works to the tender, signed and sealed 10. Attach the signed and sealed implementation timetable. *Note: The quantities are preliminary, and the names of the schools will be modified and determined and the numbers distributed after they are updated by the Ministry of Education. Time to receive samples for school bags On Sunday, 8/11/2026 AD, starting at 09:00 AM, until 12:00 PM, At the Direct Aid headquarters - delivered to the storekeeper in the office before the process of opening the envelopes, without placing any marks, stickers, seals, or printing any logos or notes on the samples related to the supplier. The Direct Aid logo must be printed on all bags provided, with only one sample of each type provided, and the samples are submitted in a closed cardboard box. Samples received after this date will not be accepted and will not be received from the office, and they are not refundable. Bids received after this date will not be accepted and will not be received from the office. The office of (Direct Aid Society - Yemen Office) will notify the winning bidder within a period not exceeding (30) days from the date of opening the envelopes. The samples are delivered to the storekeeper in the office before opening the envelopes, without placing any additional marks on the products belonging to the supplier, and they are not refundable. In addition, more than one sample will not be accepted for one item. The organization gives all bidders ten days to file a grievance before the authorities specified in the law, beginning with officially notifying them of the name of the winner of the tender. Direct Aid reserves the right to reject all or some of the bids or cancel the tender at any time without bearing any responsibility or obligation towards the bidders or for the reasons that prompted the buyer to take this action. Note that the organization is not obligated to award the lowest priced bid and the evaluation of the tender will be conducted at a ratio of (30%) financial and (70%) technical.
