Contract Description
The habitat conditions will be adjusted on the Bořeň NPR part by cutting out undesirable tree species (mainly thorn, rosehip and blood sorrel) in unconnected stands, p. p. no. 728 and 731 k. ú Chouč. The area defined by the drawing above the orthophoto map is 3.27 ha. Solitary tree species, larger tree individuals of hawthorns and groups of bushes will be preserved on the area to enable bird nesting according to the instructions of the AOPK CR, RP Správa PLA CHKO České středohoří. Due to the retention of the above-mentioned trees, unconnected growth and areas without rejuvenation, the carved area is reduced by 50% to 1.635 ha. Of this area, 40% (i.e. 0.654 ha) of unwanted woody plants up to 1 m high will be cut and 60% (i.e. 0.981 ha) of unwanted woody plants from 1 m to 3 m high will be cut. There are difficult conditions here - poor availability of land, its partial slope and the thorniness of the trees being removed. Wood will be cut as low as possible to the ground so that the cut plots can be farmed in the future. All cut matter will be cleared and used in accordance with applicable legal regulations.
