Contract Description
As part of the sustainability of the LIFE+ "Steppe Lounského středohoří" project, Life 009 NAT/CZ/000363, a section of unwanted rejuvenation of trees above 1 m/up to 3 m in height will be carried out on part of land plot No. 213/1 in the district of Želkovice u Loun. The total area defined by the drawing above the orthophoto map is 0.4775 ha. Due to the loose occurrence of trees and places without vegetation (rocks), the cut area is reduced by 40% to 0.2865 ha. The timber will be cut as low to the ground as possible to allow for future manual mowing with a brushcutter. Selected mature trees will be left on the area according to the instructions of the AOPK CR, RP administration of the PLA České středohoří. There are difficult conditions here - very difficult to access, sloping and stony land, a section of mostly thorny trees. All cut wood material will be cleared and stored in the surrounding forest stands, or used in another way in accordance with applicable legal regulations. Tree cutting will be carried out by 31/03/2021, cleaning of the cut wood material by 04/05/2021. The principles of socially and environmentally responsible procurement and innovation were followed when preparing the tender conditions for this public contract.
