Contract Description
The subject of the public contract is the rehabilitation of the LB breach and the repair of the bank fortifications on the right bank of the Ostravice VT in km 14,280 – 14,630 to the original parameters. • Construction work will be carried out on the basis of protocol number 261/222/005/OPR in terms of the removal of flood damage in the given location. • All work will take place in the bed and on the banks of the water course in the given locality. Before the work starts, the fishing crew will be caught. Security will be provided against the leakage of dangerous substances into the water course (installation of a bore wall). • Subsequently, the breach will be rehabilitated and the shore fortification will be repaired to the original parameters according to the attached simple project documentation, i.e. the right bank fortification in the section of km 14,280 – 14,630, where the existing breach will be rehabilitated by throwing quarry stone with a sunken heel, where the weight of the stone will be 200 - 500 kg/piece with a throwing power of 1.9 m3/bm. Sediments will be excavated in the affected channel route, which will be deposited in the right-bank outcrop behind the newly constructed bank fortification. After completion, the stone wall will be planted with willow and alder rods to create a revitalized stone wall. Access to the construction site is via the existing local and purpose-built roads along the Ostravice waterway, which will be returned to their original state after the works are completed. • Basic parameters of the repair: - Total length of the solved section: 350 m. - Repair of the bank fortifications including the footing in the form of a throw from quarry stone weighing of individual stone 200 – 500 kg with gravel covering an area of approx. 1172.5 m3. - revitalization of the foot of the bank with vegetation cover: 875 purple willow cuttings + 875 sticky alder seedlings.
