Description & Project Overview
In connection with the expiry of today's agreements on the operation of regional flight routes in Northern Norway in the period 1 April 2024 – 31 October 2028 and operation of the Værøy–Bodø helicopter route in the period 1 August 2024 – 31 October 2028, the Ministry of Transport has initiated work on new competitions for regional scheduled flights in Northern Norway and on the operation of the Værøy–Bodø helicopter route, both with contract start 1 November 2028. The Ministry is currently carrying out a consultation on a transport-related study, cf. link: Consultation - New competition for regional scheduled flights in Northern Norway from 1 November 2028 - regjeringen.no The Ministry of Transport invites all potential providers, Norwegian and foreign, to a market dialogue at administrative level, to discuss matters related to the upcoming competition.
