IP LIFE - cutting of unwanted trees on 3 areas in EVL Oblík-Srdov-Brník

Implementation of measures in EVL Oblík-Srdov-Brník as part of the One Nature project (Integrated LIFE project for the Natura 2000 system in the Czech Republic – LIFE17 IPE/CZ/000005 LIFE-IP: N2K Revisited), activity C4 – Management of sites of the Natura 2000 system. Specifically, it concerns the support of habitat protection objects Semi-natural dry grasslands and scrub facies on calcareous substrates - Festuco-Brometalia (6,210) and species – chestnut (1,078), rock locust (4,055). Habitat conditions will be adjusted on three areas defined by drawings above the orthophoto maps that are attached to this procurement procedure: Area No. 1 - section of undesirable species of trees (mainly blackthorn, rosehip, blood dogwood, common hawthorn) in unconnected vegetation on part of the plot of land plot No. 289/3 in the municipal district of Mnichov u Loun. The cutting will be carried out on an area of ​​0.8 ha, the area affected by the intervention is reduced by 10% to 0.72 ha due to the scattering of trees and their parts being left. Trees up to 1 m high will be cut on 50% of this area, and trees up to 3 m high on 50%. There are difficult conditions here - it is a long-term uncultivated, stony, sloping and poorly accessible plot of land. Area No. 2 - cut-out of trees up to 3 m high on part of plot No. 203/2 in Charvátka u Loun district. The cutting will be carried out on a defined area with an area of ​​0.0941 ha, the area affected by the intervention is reduced to 0.0701 ha due to the scattering of trees and the retention of part of them. There are difficult conditions here - this is a plot of land in a very sloping, stony and difficult to access terrain. Individuals of fruit trees, perspective individuals of hawthorns, possibly other trees. Area No. 3 – cutting of unwanted species of trees up to 3 m high (mainly rejuvenation of acacia thorn) in an unconnected stand on part of land plot No. 203/3 of Charvatka u Loun. The cutting will be carried out on an area with a defined area of ​​0.5200 ha, the area affected by the intervention is reduced to 0.1040 ha due to scattered rejuvenation and places without vegetation.
