Contract Description
The construction deals with the modernization of the bridge ev. No. 198-028 on road II/198 in Toužimi urban area. The work includes the removal of the pavement layer, excavations to expose the vaults and cleaning of the structure. The vaults will be rehabilitated by removing the shotcrete, deep jointing, grouting and strengthening with connecting pins, reinforcement and concreting. The wings of the bridge will be modified in the same way. Subsequently, new waterproofing, drainage, construction of stone walls and backfilling of transitional areas will be carried out. The bridge will receive new reinforced concrete ledges, railings, guardrails, and modified sidewalks and pavements. The surface of the road will be drained with a one-sided transverse slope of 2.5% to the flood side, the street drains in front of and behind the bridge will be replaced and connected to the existing system. The area under the bridge will be restored to its original state. Traffic on the local road will be excluded during the modernization of the bridge building, according to a separate DIO.
