Contract Description
The subject of the public contract is to perform measurements using data loggers and then, based on the evaluation of the obtained data, to process and present to the professional public a final report that will answer the following research questions: 1. What is the relative contribution of the three components of the oxygen balance of the lake: (a) the input concentration of 02 from the reservoir depending on the stratification and discharge method, (b) local respiration, (c) local photosynthesis. 2. How does the discharge method (MVE vs. 1 segment vs. 3 segments) affect the resulting 02 concentration in the overburden — especially in the presence of cyanobacteria and different states of thermal stratification. 3. Under what conditions does local photosynthesis in the overhang not work or is negligible, and why. 4. What is the reason for the rare situation when Bulgarians show an afternoon oxygen peak independent of the supply from VD NM.
