Contract Description
Manual mowing of the steppe biotope and cutting of unwanted woody plants in PP Lužické šípáky, p. p. no. 967/1 c. ú. Lužice u Mostu. The following works will be carried out: 1. Manual mowing with a brushcutter on three areas with a total area of 1.21 ha. In a mosaic pattern, there are scattered mature trees and bushes that will be cut down and are therefore part of the area. In areas No. 2 and No. 3 there are saplings of trees removed in previous years. Part of mowing is also the removal of scattered rejuvenating trees up to 1 m high. All mowed matter will then be dug up, cleared from the plot and used in accordance with applicable legal regulations. This is a sloping and uneven plot of land, for this reason the price for the measures is increased compared to the basic rate stated in "Costs of usual measures of the Ministry of the Environment". The measure will be carried out in accordance with the approved standard AOPK CR SPPK D02 004:2017 Mowing, which is an appendix to the procurement procedure. Mowing will be carried out by 31 October 2019. 2. A mosaic-like section of undesirable woody plants above 1 m in height on two areas, the total area of which is defined by the drawings above the orthophoto map is 0.11 ha. Due to the retention of selected trees (fruit trees, oaks, several large hawthorns and dogwoods), the cut area is reduced to 0.080 ha. The retained trees will be marked by the staff of AOPK ČR, RP Správa CHKO České středohoří. The stumps will be aligned with the terrain so that the land can be managed without problems in the future. All cut matter will be cleared and used in accordance with applicable legal regulations. The cutting of unwanted trees will take place between October 1 and 31, 2019.
