BWell is a health and wellbeing program jointly supported by Transport for NSW and the bus industry, designed specifically for bus drivers and depot staff. Scope: The BWell program has been developed to address the unique health and wellbeing challenges experienced by bus drivers and depot staff, including fatigue, irregular work patterns, sedentary work environments and limited access to wellbeing support. As a safety-critical workforce, maintaining the health, wellbeing and engagement of bus industry employees is essential to supporting safe and reliable public transport services. BWell will provide practical, accessible and evidence-informed wellbeing initiatives designed to improve health awareness, encourage positive lifestyle behaviours and strengthen connections to available support services.
