Contract Description
The purpose of the contract is to carry out work relating to the development of a temporary immersion zone (ZIT) in Petit Enghien on the 2nd category watercourse “le Querton” and “Tilleul au bois” located near Rue Brigade Piron and the Carrière de la CUP Bierghes. Description of the work to be carried out: The work includes: • The creation of a retention zone which can vary from 4850m³ to 10500m³ over 9000m² to 13250m² upstream including the necessary earth movements, driving of sheet piles, creation of dikes and overflow channel, installation of sluices, elements of aqueduct heads, valves and regulation cofferdams (Zone 1). • The deforestation necessary for the creation of the structures (+/- 3000m²) • The landscaped and native reforestation of the surroundings of the retention zones and deforested areas • The accesses and construction track • The installation of an additional overflow pipe towards the drainage water basin of the CUP Bierghes quarry. DN 400 HDPE pipe placed on and covered with stony sand at the edge of the quarry track (Zone 3)
