Excision of encroached trees, mowing of undergrowth and subsequent removal of undergrowth in EVL Bílé strána near Litoměřice, part of Pokratice

The subject of the public contract is the active protection of Europeanly important localities with thermophilic communities and species in the Český středohoří, LIFE16 NAT/CZ/000639, EVL Bílé stráně near Litoměřice, part of Pokratice. Part 1 – activity C1, cut-out of overgrown trees and shrubs over 1 m high on plot no. 1186, 1187, 1190, 1194, 1193, 1207, 1195, 1210, 1218, 1197/1, 1197/2, 694, 693, 692, 689/2, 695, in the k. ú. Summary on area number 1 with an area of 2.1585 ha according to the drawing above the orthophoto map (appendix no. 2a). Spreading trees and shrubs such as blood dogwood, baby maple, common thorn, common hawthorn, common hazel, black ash - juvenile individuals will be removed. Special emphasis will be placed on the preservation of individuals from the range of the European rowan (Sorbus bohemica), the downy oak (Quercus pubescens) and other valuable trees (the rowan crane, the brek crane, fruit trees, oaks). Due to the retention of solitary trees or groups of shrubs, the area to be cut is reduced by 5%, the area to be cut is therefore 2.0506 ha. The land is more difficult to access, very sloping, the trees are thorny in places. The timber will be cut as low to the ground as possible so that the land can be farmed in future years. The measure will be carried out in the period from the effective date of the Agreement to 31 March 2020. Part 2 – activity C1, cutting of overgrown trees and shrubs above 1 m in height on parcels No. 1207, 1210, 1214, 1215 and 1218 in the district of Shortage on areas No. 2 and 3 with a total area of 0.4207 ha, according to the drawing above the orthophoto map (appendix no. 2a).
