Description & Project Overview
The Western Australia Police Force (the WA Police Force) is committed to being an exceptional Police Force for the community by responding quickly to unforeseen events, changing circumstances, and placing its people and resources where they are needed most in the community. Underpinning operations is a large, complex Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) infrastructure and application landscape. Within this area of policing there is a subsection of Protected and Secret classified specialist systems which require ongoing support and maintenance. All members of this subsection team must hold a Negative Vetting Level 2 (NV2) clearance. To obtain NV2, an individual must be an Australian Citizen, pass an extensive vetting process that includes extensive background checks, financial checks, and character reviews. An NV2 clearance can enable ongoing support of classified systems pertaining up to and including Top Secret information. The WA Police Force is seeking to engage suitably skilled and experienced Contractor(s) to provide ICT Services relating to specialist systems (inclusive of infrastructure and application services), primarily within the Perth metropolitan area.
