The subject of this tender is the supply of calcium nitrate. To prevent the formation of odors caused by hydrogen sulfide in sewage pressure pipes, Stadtentwasserung Dresden GmbH operates dosing devices at 24 pumping stations for the addition of calcium nitrate to the respective pump receivers. The storage containers are delivered and filled at three storage locations: • 01809 Heidenau, Pumpwerk Hafenstr. • 01156 Dresden, An den Winkelwiesen pumping station • 01139 Dresden, Dresden-Kaditz sewage treatment plant Deliveries are made to all three storage locations using a tanker, and up to 26 t can be delivered per delivery. The delivery of the individual pumping stations and the filling of the storage tanks (mainly IBC containers) is carried out by a company-owned tanker. A delivery is ordered by telephone by an employee of SEDD GmbH, and delivery must then take place within 5 working days. The storage containers are the property of SEDD GmbH. The dosing material offered must be described comprehensively in terms of its composition and all additives must be specified. The desired concentration of hydrogen sulphide at the respective pressure line end shaft or the following sections is 3 - 5 ppm. A corresponding product data sheet must be submitted. The contract is scheduled to begin on November 1st, 2026 with a term of 2 years until October 31st, 2028 and an optional extension for a further 2 years (November 1st, 2028 to October 31st, 2030).
