Dyje, under VDNM, increase of dams

It concerns the modification of the existing LB and PB dams in the section between the road bridge over the Dyje riverbed on the Milovice – Nové Mlýny road and the main dam of the lower reservoir of VDNM in order to ensure the safety of the dams and flood protection in the relevant section. Compared to the designed and approved crown level values, the existing dams are lowered by -0.19m on average, but by -0.41m at the most. The height level of the PB crown of the embankment will be corrected by compacted soil embankment in the crown of the embankment to the required level with a standard rise above the level of the Q100 level +0.30m and an increase due to consolidation by +0.05m. The total resulting elevation of the repaired dam crown above the Q100 level will be +0.35m. The height level of the crown of the LB dike will be corrected by establishing a ŽB anti-flood wall in the crown of the dike. The crown of the wall will be at +0.35m above the Q100 level. The construction also includes the repair of the paved area of ​​the courtyard at the MVE and the repair of the closure (sewage slide) and the ladder in the closure shaft of the dyke culvert. SO01 – length of the repaired section of the dam 206.9 m (measured at the crown of the dam), SO02 – length of the repaired section of the dam 150.2 m (measured at the crown of the dam). The total length of the proposed objects is 357.1 m. SO01 – Increase of the LB dam - the height level of the crown of the LB dam will be corrected by establishing a ŽB anti-flood wall in the crown of the dam. The crown of the wall will be at +0.35m above the Q100 level. By establishing the LB anti-flood wall, the LB dam will be brought into the designed and approved parameters. Part of the construction is the repair of the paved area of ​​the courtyard at the MVE. The repair of the paved surface consists of removing the AB cover, realigning, supplementing and overlapping the underlying layers of the paved surface and establishing a new AB cover in the area of ​​the existing paved surface. SO02 – Increase of the PB dam - the height level of the crown of the PB dam will be corrected by a compacted soil embankment in the crown of the dam to the required level with a standard elevation above the level of the Q100 level +0.30m and an elevation due to consolidation by +0.05m.
