Contract Description
The aim of the study is to find out: • which processes (spontaneous and human-induced or influenced) have an impact on the ecological state of gravel-sand lakes, • which of these processes can be influenced by practical management (and in what way, and with what success), with the aim of achieving/maintaining a good ecological state of lakes, • which indicators assessing the state of the lake ecosystem can be used for effective evaluation of the ecological state of lakes (effectiveness here means relative the simplicity and reasonable time and financial complexity of obtaining data that will provide a sufficiently convincing statement about the state of the lake ecosystem, and on the basis of which it will be possible to adopt specific proposals for further management), • specific proposals for further lake management, according to the specific values of the indicators proposed in point c).
