Contract Description
The work is understood as: "Active protection of European important localities with thermophilic communities and species in the Bohemian Central Highlands", LIFE16 NAT/CZ/000639, EVL Lipská hora, activity C1. Cutout of bushes and overgrown trees on land plot No. 136/14 of Mrsklesy, on an area with a total area of 2.407 ha according to the drawing above the orthophoto map (Appendix No. 2). Due to the unconnected growth of bushes and trees left in the tree layer, the area to be cut is reduced by 15%, the area to be cut is therefore 2.046 ha. Spreading bushes up to 3 m high will be removed on an area of 0.5115 ha (hawthorn, rose hip, dogwood, baby oak) and encroaching woody plants over 3 m high (up to 10 cm trunk diameter on the cutting surface of the stump) on an area of 1.5345 ha (baby oak, aspen, hazel, ash). Mature trees, especially oaks and fruit trees (cherries, apples, pears, walnuts) will be left in the cutout area. The timber will be cut as low to the ground as possible so that the land can be farmed in future years. Part of the excavated material will be left on the site as a suitable shelter for animals in the places designated by the worker of AOPK CR, RP SCHKO České středohoří. Other cut material will be cleared and used in accordance with applicable legal regulations. The measure will be implemented in the period from the effective date of the Agreement to March 31, 2021.
