Reception, porter and security services at the Federal Office for Road and traffic engineering (BASt) and on the demonstration, investigation and BASt reference area (duraBASt)

The Federal Highway Research Institute (BASt) is a federal technical and scientific research institution within the scope of the Federal Ministry of Transport. It has around 400 employees. The BASt is active in many national and international committees and often welcomes guests and groups of visitors who speak foreign languages. The services in the area of ​​security, security and gatekeeping will be tendered in two lots and are to be provided from March 1st, 2027. The contracts are each concluded for a term of 2 years (with a trial period of 6 months) with annual extensions up to a maximum of 5 years. The awarding of this contract is based on the rules of the “Handbook for awarding contracts to guard and security services” from CoESS and Uni-Europa. Subject of the service a. Lot 1 Continuous security of the property of the Federal Highway and Transport Agency, Brüderstraße 53, 51427 Bergisch Gladbach by trained security personnel, including reception service by trained reception staff during the day on working days. b. Lot 2 Continuous surveillance of the duraBASt (BASt demonstration, examination and reference area) during the day on working days by trained security personnel at the Cologne-Ost motorway junction and video surveillance at other times by the control center to be provided by the contractor. The offering companies must be certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and DIN 77200 level 3. The control points (e.g. NFC tags, NFC OnMetal or beacons) are required and must be provided by the contractor.
