Contract Description
The subject of the public contract is the execution of additional construction works on SO 01-11-02 – ŽST Lovosice, railway underpass: Due to the change in the solution for rehabilitating the railway underpass at the location of the rail coupling and switches No. 19-26, where the project proposes lime stabilization, which was identified as an unsuitable solution after the discovery and consultation with the geotechnician and the designer, mainly due to the exposure of 30 pieces of existing communication and security cabling, which was not known at the project stage. Lime stabilization is difficult to apply, due to the short section and interruptions by cable routes. For this reason, the designer and geotechnician proposed a solution consisting of a combination of reinforcing geotextile and a crushed stone layer that meets the appropriate load-bearing parameters required by the project documentation.
