The Government of the Republic of Congo has received additional funding from the International Development Association (IDA) for the implementation of the activities of the “Project for the Harmonization and Improvement of Statistics in West and Central Africa (HISWACA)”, and intends to use part of the amount of this funding to make payments under the following contract : “recruitment of a national consultant for technical support for the implementation of the quarterly survey on employment and the informal sector in Congo (EESIC-T)”. 2. The general objective of the mission is to provide high-level technical support to the National Institute of Statistics for the design, implementation, monitoring and operation of the Quarterly Survey on Employment and the Informal Sector in Congo (EESIC-T), guaranteeing the quality of the operation in accordance with the harmonized CEMAC methodology and ensuring periodic production of reliable and comparable indicators on the market labor and the informal sector. More specifically, it will be: Support the finalization of technical documents and collection tools (household, employment, informal sector questionnaires, enumeration sheet, instruction manuals, survey protocol) in close collaboration with the international ILO expert and the technical team
