Contract Description
Implementation of measures within the implementation of the rescue program for ground squirrels. This is the modification of the habitat conditions on 4 areas according to the drawings above the orthophoto map with a total area of 5.9898 ha, land parcel No. 1159, 1158/1, 1165, 1161, 1172, 248, 256/1, 256/2, 1140/8 of the municipality of Raná u Loun. The grassland will be grazed by a mixed herd of sheep and goats on free range with the help of shepherd dogs. The measures will be carried out by the deadline determined by the staff of the AOPK CR, RP Správa CHKO České středohoří, taking into account the current state of the vegetation - the height of the grass should not exceed 15 cm, by 10 November 2023. Part of the measure is the transport of the herd and ensuring the necessary care for it. The measure does not include mowing the stubble. Grazing will take place in accordance with the approved standard PPKD 02-003:2015 Grazing available at standardsy.nature.cz.
