Finland – Railway-track maintenance services – Post-announcement: Metro rail profiling service

Pääkaupunkiseudun Kaupunkiliikenne Oy tendered the metro rail profiling service on behalf of the Helsinki City Transport Authority and Länsimetro Oy. The object of the procurement was the implementation of one grinding unit. One grinding unit covered the entire metro line in the main metro and western metro areas in Helsinki and Espoo. Rail sanding services include predictive, corrective and acoustic sanding. The need for the grinding method and determination of the grinding method is always done before the start of grinding with the selected supplier.
