Das Vorhaben dient der Unterstützung des BMUKN im Rahmen seiner Zuständigkeit als federführend koordinierende Stelle für die Deutsche Anpassungsstrategie an die Folgen des Klimawandels (DAS). Esbezieht sich auf die vom Bundeskabinett 2024 beschlossenen Ziele, Unterziele und Maßnahmen für das Handlungsfeld „Schutz des Welterbes“ in der Klimaanpassungsstrategie. Für ein koordiniertes Vorgehender Ressorts sind nun im Nachgang zu dem Kabinettsbeschluss 2024 der Sachstand und die Fortschritte bei der Zielerreichung zu bestimmen. Für die Risiken der Welterbestätten in Deutschland besteht nochkein ressortübergreifendes Gesamtbild, das den Handlungsbedarf in der Klimaanpassung bündelt und bewertet. In einem ersten Schritt ist dieser Sachstand auf Basis öffentlich verfügbarer Quellen(Desktop-Recherche) zu erheben (Arbeitspaket 1). Institutionelle Vorschläge, wie der Aufbau einer Koordinierungsstelle oder die Vernetzung, sind auf Machbarkeit und Anknüpfungsmöglichkeitento be assessed (work package 3). Procedures and standards for risk assessment and prioritization of measures for the area of action of World Heritage sites must be developed (Work Package 4). ToTo ensure the quality of the statements, consultations with experts must be carried out (work packages 2 and 5). Finally, the main results are in recommendations to theto bring together decision-makers at the federal and state levels. The research needs must also be determined and research questions that contribute to achieving the goals must be prioritized (Work Package 6).Ziel des Vorhabens ist es, eine transparente und fundierte Entscheidungsgrundlage für die zuständigen Stellen zu erarbeiten. Die Entscheidungsgrundlage soll ein konzertiertes Vorgehen unterstützen,zielgerichtete Kooperationen vorstrukturieren und einen effizienten Mitteileinsatz vorbereiten. Auf dieser Grundlage soll die Evaluierung der Zielerreichung und des Steuerungsbedarfs in derclimate adaptation strategy 2028.
