The assignment concerns the remodeling of the Sundholm Pleje housing facility at Sundholmsvej 10ABC, 2300 Copenhagen S, based on the vision of creating a dignified and robust housing facility where both residents and employees can thrive. Sundholm Care currently has 38 homes for care-requiring citizens characterized by homelessness, with active consumption of alcohol and drugs and/or physical and psychological challenges, who need a place to live for a longer period of their lives. The target group is defined as care-requiring citizens with a significant and permanently reduced level of physical and/or mental functioning. The task includes the establishment of eight new housing sites for long-term stays in accordance with Section 108 of the Service Act within the framework of the existing building worthy of preservation. The eight new spaces are to be established in one section of the housing offer, Kollektivet, located at Sundholmsvej 10AB. The starting point for the assignment is that the ground floor in the building at Sundholmsvej 10AB has become vacant, and can therefore be used by Sundholm Care. The social services administration wants to move and consolidate offices and other service functions in the buildings ground floor, thereby freeing up space to establish the eight new homes on the floors where there were previously service facilities. The new homes in the offer must therefore be established in premises that today have a different function. The expansion in the form of eight residential spaces is therefore achieved by moving existing service and staff facilities from the floors down to the ground floor. The task also entails establishing a common entrance in the Middle Building which connects the building on Sundholmsvej 10AB with Sundholmsvej 10N, and that rehousing in pavilions is planned during construction. The internal replacement in Sundholmsvej 10AB and the common residents entrance are expected to give the housing offer a safety and quality boost in its entirety.
