Contract Description
The speed increase Munich-Johanneskirchen - Munich Airport is part of the measures on the outside area of the 2nd S-Bahn trunk line so that the timetable concept can be implemented. As part of the network supplementary measure 23 (NeM 23) project, the line speed is to be increased from 120 to 140 km/h. Furthermore, it must be examined what additional costs an increase in the route standard to 160 km/h will cause.
