As part of the present contract award procedure, a contract is being awarded for the production and delivery of 10,000,000 pieces (minimum total quantity for the year 2027) plus an option quantity of up to 50,000,000 pieces (callable until the end of December 2029) of 5-euro-cent coin blanks. For the circulation coin series, a total of 44,000 pieces (minimum quantity for the year 2027) plus an option quantity of up to 88,000 pieces (callable until the end of December 2029) are to be delivered from this. The quantities of 5-euro-cent coin blanks are to be delivered to the mints in Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, Karlsruhe and Hamburg.
