Republic of the philippines province of la union municipality of san gabriel office of the bids and awards committee invitation to bid the bids and awards committee of barangay bayabas, san gabriel, la union intends to apply the sum of two hundred forty-one thousand nine hundred fifteen pesos only (ᵽ241,915.00) being the approved budget for the contract (abc) to payments under the contract for the works described below: name of contract: construction of slope protection of barangay multi-purpose hall & birthing clinic location of project: barangay bayabas, san gabriel, la union source of fund: trust fund 2021-2025 calendar days: 21 days the schedule of bac activities is as follows: date of posting: october 02, 2026 advertisement/posting of invitation to bid/request for expression of interest: october 02, 2026 – october 09, 2026 deadline for submission of bids: october 23, 2026@ 9:00 am opening of bids: october 23, 2025@ 10:00 am bid evaluation: october 26, 2025 post qualification: october 27, 2025 approval of resolution and issuance of notice of award: october 28, 2025 contract preparation and signing: october 29, 2025 approval of contract: october 30, 2025 issuance of notice to proceed: november 03, 2025 the bids and awards committee of barangay bayabas, san gabriel, la union, now invites bids for the above-mentioned works. bids that exceeded the abc shall be rejected at bid opening and late bidders shall be rejected. evaluation shall be made for the determination of the lowest complying bidder. prospective bidders must have completed a similar contrast within the last ten years from date of submission and receipt of bids amounting to at least 50% of the abc to be bid. bidding is restricted to filipino citizens/sole proprietorship, partnerships or organizations with at least seventy five percent (75%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the philippines. open competitive bidding will be conducted using the non-discretionary pass or fail criterion, evaluation and post qualification procedures specified in the implementing rules regulations (irr) of ra 9184. information is also available at barangay hall or www.philgeps.net. the bidding documents maybe inspected or purchased at the address previously indicated herein upon payment of a non-refunded fee in the amount of five hundred pesos only by interested bidders. barangay bayabas reserves the rights to accept or reject any or all bids, to annul the bidding process, or declare failure of bidding at any time prior to contract award thereby incurring any liability to the affected parties. perlita d. punasen bac chairman
