Fraunhofer ISE has been operating PEM electrolysis test stands for over 30 years at operating temperatures of up to 120 C and pressures of up to 50 bar (g) and is currently planning to purchase a test stand to characterize PEM electrolysis stacks. The test stand will be used to characterize low-temperature PEM electrolysis cells as short stacks with outputs of up to 50 kW at temperatures of up to 85°C and pressures of up to 50 bar (g).
