Description & Project Overview
Farys and the city of Ghent wish to appoint a contractor for the expansion of the emergency lighting and fire detection installations in the Bourgoyen sports hall and for the expansion of the fire detection installation in the Keiskant sports hall. These expansions will be carried out in accordance with the most recent standards regarding the fire safety of both sports halls. As part of this work, the asbestos-containing ceiling in the Bourgoyen sports hall must also be removed and replaced. In concrete terms, the desired program is determined as follows: • Expanding the emergency lighting installation in the Bourgoyen sports hall in accordance with the EN 1838 standard; • Expanding the fire detection system in the Bourgoyen sports hall in accordance with the S21 100 standard; • Expanding the fire detection system in the Keiskant sports hall in accordance with the S21 100 standard. For both locations, the contractor is also asked to provide an (additional) maintenance contract, following the 2-year warranty period, which in any case includes the necessary maintenance. (required option) This maintenance contract has a term of 8 years, following the 2-year warranty period. The contract is divided into 2 lots: • Lot 1: Bourgoyen; • Plot 2: Keiskant.
