Purchaser : Ministry of Finance – Somalia Project: De-risking, inclusion and value enhancement of pastoral economies in the horn of Africa (DRIVE) Contract title : Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Laboratory Equipment for the National Reference Laboratory (NRL) of the Somali Bureau of Standards (SOBS) Country: The Federal Republic of Somalia Bid Type: Single Stage Bidding – Two Envelope with Rated Criteria RFB No: SO-MOF-561587-GO-RFB The Federal Government of Somalia has received grant financing from the World Bank toward the cost of The De-risking, inclusion and value enhancement of pastoral economies in the horn of Africa (DRIVE) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payment under the contract for Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Laboratory Equipment for the National Reference Laboratory (NRL) of the Somali Bureau of Standards (SoBS). for this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit. The Ministry of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Laboratory Equipment for the National Reference Laboratory (NRL) of the Somali Bureau of Standards (SoBS). The Contract includes Related Services comprising site-readiness assessment, delivery logistics and customs support, installation, commissioning, calibration/verification and IQ/OQ/PQ qualification, training, proficiency-testing enrolment, external calibration services, handover documentation, cybersecurity hardening, and warranty support. Bids will be evaluated on the basis of rated criteria.
