Destination country: Mexico Field of application: Energy efficiency Possible date: Q1 2027 Objective: The aim of the business trip (GR) is to make it easier for German companies and technology providers in the field of energy efficiency solutions for process heat and industrial buildings to access the Mexican market, to identify concrete business opportunities and to build sustainable business relationships. The focus is particularly on technologies such as solar thermal energy, concentrated solar power (CSP) and biogas. The core component of the business trip are individually organized B2B discussions with potential business partners, which are intended to enable targeted initiation of collaborations and project plans. These discussions serve the purpose of direct networking with relevant market players and the identification of concrete business opportunities in the area of sustainable industrial heat supply. In addition, one or two event formats are planned that enable knowledge transfer and professional exchange with Mexican experts and decision-makers from business, science and relevant institutions. The events also serve to present and position German technologies and solutions in the Mexican market. Site visits are only intended in justified exceptional cases, provided they can be proven to support the initiation of business. The specifications described in the guidelines must be applied when implementing the project.
