Gable facade of brick that has begun to bulge and crack, currently secured with external battens at the bottom edge. bricks are demolished and new facade render with render carrier installed with weber premium mk2 or equivalent.
plinth on gable and rear side demolished, loose lightweight concrete removed as needed, and spray render restored to match original. gable facade needs replacement due to moisture damage causing corrosion of brick ties and risk of bricks falling. moisture damage has also caused frost spalling in existing rendered plinth, which shall also be remedied.
protruding parts terminating the brick wall at top and bottom edges and framing the window rows replaced with corresponding render corbelling. new plinth render executed in texture matching existing spray render, but gable's lighter colour adjusted to the original slightly darker shade of plinth on other facades. grooves in plinth render recreated to match existing. new window flashings in colour matching existing. thickness of new wall build-up same as before.
