Contract Description
Europe-wide award of specialist planning services for the technical equipment of system groups 4, 5 and 8 (electrical) for service phases 2-3 and 5-9 for the further development of the Lehenbach School Europe-wide award of specialist planning services for the technical equipment of system groups 4, 5 and 8 (electrical) for service phases 2-3 and 5-9 for the further development of the Lehenbach School
The Lehenbachschule Winterbach is a primary and community school with a central location in the community. The school consists of four buildings. The renovated old building, on the top floor of which houses all-day care for primary school children, the pavilion building and the new all-day building (canteen on the ground floor), which was built as part of the establishment of all-day operations in secondary school, form a campus-like unit together with the renovated rectorate building and the large playground. In the course of demographic developments and a changed demand structure, the school needs within the community of Winterbach have changed. Together with the school management, the community initiated the further development of the Lehenbach School. With the further development of the Lehenbach School, the municipality of Winterbach is pursuing the long-term goal of adapting the school location to the future requirements of a modern primary and community school with all-day and childcare options. The basis for this is the results of a strategy concept for education and care as well as a feasibility study based on it. These have shown an additional need for teaching, care, lounge and cafeteria space. For this reason, the existing building is to be expanded, restructured and modernized. The measures serve the functional and structural development of the entire school campus and are intended to create the spatial conditions for modern school and childcare operations. The implementation takes place during ongoing school operations and therefore requires careful planning and organizational coordination of all those involved in the project. Current planning status: The property planning services for buildings and interiors have already been awarded as part of a tendering process. Based on the results of the feasibility study as well as the coordinated requirements of the community, the school management and the care facilities, the commissioned architectural office developed an initial preliminary draft for the further structural development of the Lehenbach School. The preliminary draft specifies the planned expansion, conversion and renovation measures and forms the basis for the integration and commissioning of further specialist planning. The specialist planning of the technical equipment is an essential part of the overall project and includes both measures in the existing building and the planning of the technical systems for the planned expansion and conversion measures. As part of the expansion and extension of the pavilion building, the electrical systems must be re-planned as required and connected to the existing infrastructure of the school campus. This includes, in particular, the energy supply, lighting systems, security lighting, communication and data networks as well as the necessary building automation equipment. In addition, the existing electrical systems in the building areas to be converted must be analyzed and adapted to the future requirements of modern school and care operations. This includes in particular the adaptation and expansion of sub-distributions, line networks, data and communication infrastructures as well as the integration of new system components into existing systems. Another focus is on planning a future-proof digital infrastructure for teaching, support and administration as well as ensuring economical, energy-efficient and reliable system operation. Particular importance is attached to the planning and implementation of the measures during ongoing school and childcare operations. The requirements for security of supply, user and operational protection as well as the sectional implementation of the measures must be taken into account. The municipality of Winterbach has funding available for the measure. For this reason, the timely provision of planning services and support for timely construction implementation must be ensured. In addition, the requirements of the sustainability standard for Sustainable Building Baden-Württemberg (NBBW) must be taken into account as part of the project implementation. Compliance with the funding requirements requires the processing and documentation of various sustainability criteria across the individual planning and execution phases. Those involved in the project must provide the necessary planning bases, calculations, evidence and project data and take sustainability requirements into account as part of their services. Required evidence, documentation, tests and, if necessary, additional measurements must be coordinated with the client and the specialist planners involved as the project progresses. The requirements of the NBBW must be taken into account when planning and implementing the project and integrated into the respective specialist planning.
