Description & Project Overview
The Mainzer Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH intends to renew the tram track in the “Gonsbach Gardens” area. The renewal section extends along the street "An der Bruchspitze" between the Hartmühlenweg track crossing and the track crossing at house number 57. The existing track system will be dismantled and replaced by a new track system with a total length of approx. 400 m. According to the planning documents, the track construction will be in some areas as 60R2 grooved rail track and in some areas as 49E1 Vignol rail track on prestressed concrete sleepers
