The construction project essentially includes the following services: 1. Demolition work • Complete dismantling of the existing steel truss superstructure including reinforced concrete roadway slab • Demolition of the central pillar in the water • Partial dismantling of the existing abutments • Professional disposal of polluted materials in compliance with the relevant occupational safety and environmental regulations 2. Special foundation engineering and foundation work • Monitoring of explosive ordnance during construction • Production of waterproof sheet pile walls (north and South bank) • Securing the excavation pit including temporary anchoring (North and South banks) • Soil excavation using the dredging method (North and South banks) • Soil replacement using underwater concrete (contractor method) to create the foundation level (North and South banks) • Open dewatering (North and South banks) 3. Engineering construction - substructures • Production of box-shaped reinforced concrete abutments with wing walls (abutments North and South) • Production of the backfill with drainage (abutments north and south) • Production of the embankment cones (abutments north and south) 4. Engineering construction - superstructure • Production of a single-span, steel arched truss superstructure with an orthotropic deck slab (pre-assembly using large-format steel segments on the bridge ramp) • Corrosion protection work • Floating the superstructure into the end position using a pontoon and SPMT or by means of Single-slide / single-lift method • Installation of elastomer bearings • Installation of the transition structures • Construction of the bridge railing • Construction of the bridge drainage 5. Path and road construction work • Adjustment of the ramp areas • Restoration of the drainage • Construction of maintenance paths in front of the abutments (north and south) • Construction of embankment stairs and railings • Guideline-compliant construction of the roadway fastening and construction of the caps
