Invitation to bid the local government unit of barbaza antique, through its trust fund - department of health (hfep) and philhealth yakap program, intends to apply the sum of six million pesos only (p 6,000,000.00) being the approved budget for the contract to payment under the contract for the procurement medical equipment (x-ray machine) to be used in the office of municipal health officer. bids received in excess of the abc shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. the local government unit of barbaza antique now invites bids for the above procurement project. bidders should have completed, within five (5) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the project. the description of an eligible bidder is contained in the bidding documents, particularly in section ii (instruction bidder). bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the implementing rules and regulations (irr) of the republic act (ra) 9184. otherwise known as the “government procurement reform act”. bidding is restricted to filipino citizens/sole proprietorship, partnerships or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to filipino citizens, pursuant to ra no. 5183. bidding is open to all interested bidders, subject to the condition for eligibility provided in the 2016 revised irr of ra no. 9184. prospective bidders may be obtain further information from office of the bac secretariat and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below during 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. a complete set of bidding documents may be acquired by interested bidders on september 25, 2026 to october 19, 2026 at 12:00 noon from the office of bac secretariat and upon payment of the applicable fee for the bidding documents, pursuant to the latest guidelines issued by the gppb, in the amount of ten thousand (php 10,000.00) pesos only. all bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in itb clause 14. the schedule of bac activities are follows: bac activities schedule 1.pre-bidding conference october 5, 2026 at 2:00 pm 2.bidding conference october 19, 2026 at 2:00 pm the above activities will be conducted in the municipal conference hall, barbaza, antique bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder’s duly authorized representatives, who choose to attend above stated venue. the local government unit of barbaza antique reserves the right to reject any all bids, declare failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with sections 35.6 and 41 of the 2016 revised of ra no. 9184, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders approved by: galileo e. nacionales menro bac chairperson
