Procurement of Various Food Supplies for Various Meetings, Hearings, Sessions, Seminars and Events of the Barangay

Barangay Kapitolyo, Pasig City, through the Bids and Awards Committee, intends to procure PROCUREMENT OF VARIOUS FOOD SUPPLIES FOR VARIOUS MEETINGS, HEARINGS, SESSIONS, SEMINARS AND EVENTS OF THE BARANGAY with an Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) of P150,000.00, in accordance with Section 59 of the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 12009 or the New Government Procurement Act with Purchase Request No. PBT2026-55 to be charged through the Barangay’s 2026 Supplemental Budget. Barangay Kapitolyo, Pasig City now invites bids for the above Procurement Project. Delivery of the Goods is required within fifteen (15) calendar days. Bidders should have completed, within two (2) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II (Instructions to Bidders). Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary "pass/fail" criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 12009. Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, according to RA No. 5183. All bidders shall use the standard forms of Republic Act No. 12009 or the New Government Procurement Act. Late bids shall not be accepted pursuant to Section 54.6 of RA 12009 IRR. The BAC will open immediately the submitted bids after the closing time and date. In case of fortuitous event happened during the scheduled opening and submission of bids, the opening and submission of bids shall be automatically held the next working day.Barangay Kapitolyo reserves the right to reject any bids, declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time before contract award under Section 64 of the IRR of RA No. 12009, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder/s.
