Contract Description
I/20 Bečov, serpentines I/20 Bečov, serpentines
The scope of the construction is defined by the operational stationing of Road I/20, approximately km 21.00 – 22.00 operational stationing. The majority of the construction is located in undeveloped land, and the impact on the surroundings will remain practically unchanged. The surroundings of the road are already difficult to access in the existing condition (steep terrain slopes), and the proposed reconstruction will not fundamentally change this. No existing accesses to surrounding land are being removed, and the route does not disrupt field or forest paths. The start of the construction is located in the built-up area of the town. The proposed solution results in a shift of the road alignment further away from family houses on land parcels nos. 539, 560 (located to the right of the road; from the original approx. 12 m to approx. 17 m), and simultaneously a convergence of the road alignment towards family houses on land parcels nos. 491, 559 (located to the left below the road; from the original approx. 40 m to approx. 35 m). Design category S 7.5 has been selected, which corresponds to the adjoining sections of the existing road. The design speed is considered to be 40 km/h according to ČSN 73 6101, which will allow smooth passage at speeds of 50-55 km/h without major problems (derived from ČSN 73 6110, p. 51, Table 10). The decisive speed thus approximately corresponds to the immediately adjoining section through the town of Bečov.
