Contract Description
Control electronics for experiments with superconducting circuits Control electronics for experiments with superconducting circuits
The central electronic system for researching superconducting circuits in the context of quantum computers is a control and measuring device that can play any pulse forms (arbitrary waveform generator) with carrier frequencies in the GHz range and read the system response of the sample. In the context the installation of an additional cryostatic setup, our chair needs such a control to operate up to 32 qubits. Central to the design of our cryostat set is the concept of inserting the signals into the cryostats via hybrid controls, simultaneously providing DC and base band signals for the flow of the Qits and microwave signals to the Qit and Qits. The control and measuring device deployed here must be able to provide the microwave control signals for all 32 signal lines, and for the flow control of qubits these microwave signals are to be combined on 24 of the 32 signal line with base-band signals from the control and the measuring equipment deployment here and DC voltage from a separate voltage source.
