Contract Description
The Jan Yperman Hospital is a modern, high-tech hospital with 532 beds, where 1,400 employees and 162 doctors give the best of themselves for their patients every day. Thanks to the scale of the hospital, specialized care can be offered at the highest level, while at the same time maintaining a warm and patient-oriented approach. The Jan Yperman hospital wishes to supply, maintain and provide training for 6 Kincise V2 devices and purchase, via a framework agreement, the associated consumption of products/implants from the compatible hip portfolio for the next 4 years. The implants must be compatible with the following functional and technical characteristics of the devices: - An automated impaction system in the orthopedic industry for hip arthroplasty - This for use in impacting the acetabular cup and broaching the femoral canal to accommodate the femoral stem. - Maximum efforts to reduce fractures of the femoral canal and better preparation of the cancellous bone for the ingrowth of the femoral stem. - Very ergonomic application for the user by not having to manually hit a hammer during the procedures - Compliance with the necessary regulations for a Belgian hospital The combination of these functionalities allows the operative workflow to be significantly optimized and the quality, precision and safety of these procedures to be further increased. These deliveries are also necessary to provide the orthopedics service with a modern, innovative, efficient and ergonomic solution, with a view to ensuring quality patient care and optimization of surgical activities. For the above reasons and in the absence of equivalent solutions from other manufacturers/providers, we would like to supply 6 Kincise V2 devices, and associated implants, training from the company JOHNSON & JOHNSON MEDICAL NV
