Due to the political mandate, the Euskirchen district intends to build a biological recycling plant at the site. The redesign of the composting plant means that the external areas of the plant also have to be expanded and redesigned. There will therefore be a reorganization of surface drainage including retention and purification of surface water. As part of the “advance work”, the Euskirchen district intends to build parts of the necessary infrastructure measures and storage areas and the partially covered warehouse in advance.
