The provision of knowledge, expertise and capacity required for the further application, development and management of the Basic Data Infrastructure (BDI). The Building & Management BDI Team supports organizations and initiatives in applying chain digitization, federated data sharing and BDI in practice. The team analyzes practical questions, contributes to application guidelines, standards and reusable solutions and brings practical experience back to the development and management of the BDI. The team introduces organizations and new initiatives to the BDI and supports them on a project basis with application and implementation. Participating organizations invest in expertise themselves and form the first line. The BDI Construction & Management Team acts as second and third-line support for more complex questions. The scope also includes management activities, including developing change proposals, supporting the RFC process, managing GitBook documentation and GitHub repositories, and building experiments and testbeds on the BDI test environment.
