Recruitment of one (1) Environmental Assistant #3

NOTICE FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST N°73/PASEA/2026 FOR RECRUITMENT AN ENVIRONMENTAL SAFEGUARD ASSISTANT FOR THE COORDINATION UNIT OF THE WATER SECURITY AND SANITATION SUPPORT PROJECT (PASEA) The Government of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire has obtained a credit from the International Development Association (IDA), in an amount equivalent to two hundred and fifty million (250,000,000) USD, for the implementation of the Water and Sanitation Security Support Project (PASEA). Part of these financial resources will be used to the recruitment of an Environmental Safeguarding Assistant to the Coordination Unit of the Water Security and Sanitation Support Project (PASEA) . Under the authority of the Coordinator and under the responsibility of the PASEA Environmental Safeguard Specialist, the Environmental Safeguard Assistant will have the mission of supporting the environmental and social safeguard team in the integration and environmental, social and safety management, in the planning and execution of all project activities (including those of the various executing agencies) requiring the consideration of environmental, hygiene, health and safety aspects as mentioned in the Environmental and Social Commitment Plan (PEES) and the Environmental and Social (E&S) safeguard instruments of the project in compliance with the requirements of the NES and the legal provisions of Côte d'Ivoire. The specific objectives revolve around the following missions: participate in the disclosure of environmental and social safeguard instruments, in particular the Environmental and Social Management Framework (CGES) and the Strategic Environmental and Social Assessments (EESS) as well as other specific studies (Deep/Simplified ESIA, environmental and social audit, etc.) to the executing agencies (ONAD, ONEP, DGRE, DAR) involved in the implementation
