Description & Project Overview
The purpose of this dynamic acquisition system is to provide mechanized forestry exploitation services. It will allow for a period of 10 years to request an offer from approved companies to carry out the services. These consultations will lead to what the regulations call “specific markets”. The aim is to carry out mechanized logging services in the Doubs department (Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region), involving mainly resinous wood. The expected services consist mainly of: – Mechanized felling; – Mechanized logging. These services are part of operating contexts presenting particular technical constraints, divided into categories corresponding to the lots of the system: – lot 1 “slope”: mechanized operation in conditions of steep slope, requiring specific winching equipment for the evolution of the machines on significant slopes (greater than 200 m in length); – lot 2 “marshes”: mechanized operation on weak soils or requiring watercourse crossings, involving the use of suitable equipment (crossing devices, reinforced load-bearing equipment). The detailed characteristics of each intervention will be specified in subsequent consultations relating to specific markets.
