Description & Project Overview
The purpose of this procurement process is to enter into a contract with a tenderer for the operation and maintenance of the unclassified Internet systems of the Norwegian Armed Forces. The current agreement comprises six systems that are all accessed by the users via the Internet. Five of the systems run on virtual servers in a data centre at the current operations provider. The servers run either Windows or Linux operating system. The machines can roughly be divided into web servers, application servers, database servers, as well as servers for joint services, such as Active Directory. There are currently 27 servers in total, divided between two running environments, production and testing. The last system included in this agreement is operated in Microsoft Azure.
