The purpose of the procurement is to sign a framework agreement with suppliers that can cover the need that the County Administrative Board has for the transport and housing of animals that have been cared for in accordance with the Animal Protection Act and the Supervision Act. The sub-areas of the procurement are: 1. Transport and housing - Sheep/goat 2. Transport and housing - Pigs 3. Transport and housing - Cattle 4. Transport and housing - Horses The County Boards intention is that animals in care should be primarily sold and secondarily handed over. If this is not possible, within a reasonable time, the animal must be killed instead. The entire process is prioritized and must be handled quickly.
