As part of the research project “Seamless Radio Access Networks for Internet of Space” (SeRANIS), UniBw M is building an experimental satellite. For this purpose, UniBw M needs, among other things, a satellite platform. For this purpose, the client has advertised the contract “Adaptation, construction and delivery of a satellite platform with integrated payloads and system tests carried out for the SeRANIS research project” across Europe in a negotiated procedure with a preliminary participation competition. The winning bidder in the procurement process was LuxSpace S.à.r.l. The original order value was EUR 13,950,000.00 (net). During the course of the project it became apparent that additional services from the contractor were required.
