The municipal government of gumaca, through its bids and awards committee (bac), invites suppliers/ manufacturers/ distributors/ contractors, to bid for the hereunder contract: name of contract: supply and delivery of hybrid electric motor vehicles location: gumaca, quezon brief description: 2-units approved budget for the contract (abc): php 4,000,000.00 bid must be lower than: php 4,000,000.00 funding source: general fund - supplemental budget no. 1 contract duration: 60 calendar days prospective bidders should possess a valid license applicable to the contact, have completed a similar contract with a value of at least 25% of the abc, and have key personnel and equipment (listed in the eligibility forms) available for the prosecution of contract. the bac will use non-discretionary pass/fail criteria in the eligibility check/screening as well as the preliminary examination of bids. the bac will conduct post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid. all particulars relative to eligibility statement and screening, bid security, performance security, pre-bidding conference, evaluation of bids, post-qualification and award of contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of r.a. 12009 and its implementing rules and regulation (irr). the schedule of bac activities is as follows: 1. pre-procurement conference 2. advertisement/posting invitation to bid/ request for expression of interest september 24 - october 19, 2026 until 12:00pm 3. eligibility check september 24 - october 19, 2026 until 12:00pm 4. pre-bid conference/ request for clarification supplemental/bid bulletin october 06, 2026, 04:00pm at municipal bac office 5. submission & opening of bids submission october 19, 2026, until 03:45pm, october 19, 2026, 04:00pm at municipal bac office 6. bid evaluation october 20 - 21, 2026 7. post qualification october 22 - 27, 2026 8. approval of resolution/issuance of notice of award october 28 - 30, 2026 9. contract preparation & signing november 03 - 05, 2026 10. issuance of notice to proceed november 09, 2026 the bac will issue to prospective bidders eligibility forms at office of the bac secretariat, municipal building gumaca, quezon, upon their payment of a non-refundable amount of three hundred pesos (php 300.00) to the municipal treasurer’s office cashier. prospective bidders shall submit the eligibility requirements to the bac at the said address. they may also obtain the results of the eligibility check by the bac at the same address. the bac will issue bidding documents only to the bidders declared by the bac to be eligible for the bidding upon payment of a non-refundable amount of 5,000.00 to the municipal treasurer’s office cashier. the municipal government of gumaca assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids.
