Republic of the philippines province of zambales municipality of candelaria invitation to bid the municipal government of candelaria, zambales, through the capital outlay-mayor’s office fund for cy 2026 intends to apply the sum of one million five hundred thousand pesos (php. 1,500,000.00) being the approved budget for the contract (abc) to payments for the hereunder project. bids received in excess of the abc shall automatically be rejected at the bid opening. contract duration: 60 c.d. the municipal government of candelaria, zambales now invites bids for the following project. improvement/replacement roofing-lgu building-poblacion, candelaria, zambales. delivery period is required within 60 calendar days. bidders should have completed within 5 years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the project. the description of an eligible bidder is contained in the bidding documents, particularly in section ii. instruction to bidders. bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the implementing rules and regulations (irr) of republic act 12009, otherwise known as the “new government procurement reform act" (ngpa). bidding is restricted to filipino citizens/sole proprietorship, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital belonging to citizens of the philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privilege to filipino citizens, pursuant to r.a. 5183 and subject to commonwealth act 138. interested bidders may obtain further information from engr. ralph ajie e. ednalino, municipal engineer of the municipal government of candelaria, zambales and inspect the bidding documents at the bac office of lgu-candelaria, zambales from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., mondays through thursdays. a complete set of bidding documents maybe purchased by interested bidders on october 9, 2026 to october 21, 2026 from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee for the bidding documents in the amount of five thousand pesos (php. 5,000.00) bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 a.m. of october 21, 2026. all bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in itb clause 18. bid opening shall be on october 21, 2026 10:00 a.m. at the bac office (rhu bldg.) lgu- candelaria, zambales. bids shall be opened in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend at the address below. late bids shall not be accepted. the municipal government of candelaria, zambales reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders. for further information, please refer to: ms. ester e. elamparo bac secretariat lgu candelaria, zambales 0920 227 1970
